Shooting in freezing temperatures (-7, when I looked at my phone) is never a good idea - especially when you forget to bring gloves. But it was the first time in days that the sun came out and I didn't want to miss it. Here are some photos of a castle I pass by when I go home from bringing Mito to his school.

I honestly don't know what happened to the sky here. How come the left side of the spire is bluish while the right side is white? WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?!?

Don't know why this one is darker than the other photos. My middle name is clueless, it seems.

And then there's this dude who was painting the castle while he's freezing --

It was so cold, any water that's left relatively still turns to ice --

Truth is, I don't normally pass through here. I usually use the motorway because it's quicker, but the sun invited me to take the slower, longer, but more beautiful lake road.
Maybe there's a lesson there somewhere, right?
(I know, I know - the photos are awful. I can't even blame the equipment since my Huawei P10 Plus has a good enough camera. It's really me - I suck at this. But I won't improve if I won't keep shooting, right? )
(Maybe I should get a drone to get aerial shots?)
